Stylist
We are looking for a stylist who has 1+ years experience, is dependable, trustworthy, talented artisans who want to join our creative team. EVOLVE is an organic boutique salon located in a busy, walkable Roosevelt / Greenlake District of Seattle, just north of the University District (we’re often fully booked and turn away clients).
We love high performing organic products and our clients. We currently have three experienced stylists and we are ready to add another stylist to our salon. We are looking for stylists who have 1+ years experience working in a salon and are exceptional in their desire to serve, style and work together. You will be able to build your skills through mentoring from senior staff and training while you work in a fun environment virtually free of toxins.
Compensation: Base or commission & retail commission / Lease possible
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
– Current Cosmetology License in Washington required
– 1+ years in hair styling, cutting, and coloring
– Hair artistry and knowledge / interest in organic lifestyle
– Effective communication skills — good listener and service oriented
– Experience with Booker or desire to learn reception booking software
– Self-motivated, willing to learn, enjoys being part of a team
– Advanced hair education a plus
DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITION (3 – 5 days a week):
– Hair cutting
– Advanced and standard coloring techniques
– Facial waxing (optional)
– Answering the phone and scheduling appointments
– Greeting clients and selling retail
– Continuing education and training
– Participate in quarterly meetings, promotional activities & events
This position is for immediate hire with a training period. We are willing to create a flexible schedule to ease your transition into our salon.
